The Oval is now open! Philadelphia’s new “Park on the Parkway,” has free programming, events and activities for all ages. During operating hours, The Oval features interactive games, special events including live music, movie nights, performances and workshops as well as a rotating lineup of food trucks and a beautiful beer garden. Discounted Dining in the City
Beginning on Thursday, July 17 and running through Sunday, July 27, more than two dozen University City restaurants open their doors to serve discounted dinners for the annual University City event. At each participating restaurant, three-course feasts are dished for $15, $25 or $35 depending on the restaurant. Cocktails, wine and beer are available for an additional cost. Al Fresco Movie Night
This summer, Mt. Airy presents two-nights of free al fresco movie screenings all summer long. Every Friday and Saturday night from June 20 through August 16 — with the exception of Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5 — head to Mt. Airy for outdoor film screenings of all sort.
